Exercise your will until it becomes divine will.

Different degrees of will power develop corresponding degrees of sensitiveness to pain or death. Some combat injuries and live; others resign themselves to their "fate" at the slightest indisposition, Thus it becomes evident that the duration of life is in many ways dependent upon the will.

Many people die mentally long before they die physically. When one ceases to have ambitions and to be interested in life, the will becomes paralyzed. When this will-radio is untuned or destroyed, the inflow of cosmic energy through the medulla is impaired and ceases to supply the life-force reserve that is distributed from the brain. Then physical health slowly fails from want of life force. This is the principal cause for the symptoms of old age. The stronger the will, the greater the flow of energy into the tissues and body parts.

There is enough life current in the body to last several thousand years. Yet as soon as something happens to the body, you discard all thoughts of energy. Currents of life energy of tremendous voltage play around and within you, but because you spend a little of it through your muscles, you say, "I am tired. My back feels as if it were broken." The moment you say "tired," the mind and the will give up! You should eliminate this word from your vocabulary.

If you lose your will power and ambition, you are as good as dead already. That is why you should never lose interest in life. If you allow your will to become paralyzed, you lose your connection with the cosmic energy; but if you exercise your will power, you maintain constant contact with this life force. You must keep your will power alive! Do you know why illness so often brings death? The will surrenders. The sick person becomes so tortured by pain or discouragement that he says, "All right, let me go. I cannot stand any more!" and he gives up. Even sudden, unexpected death, such as by accident or injury, occurs only because the shock paralyzes the will, or the nature of the injury in some other way severs the consciousness from the will. If the will never lets go, you will never die, for it is will power that ties the life and consciousness to the body. No force is more powerful than will.
